SA Events & Seminars

The AMA(SA) holds a range of seminars and workshops throughout the year. Most are free of charge or discounted to members and their staff (such as practice managers) and a number are also open to non-members.

We also hold some key social events throughout the year. The major event for the year is the AMA(SA) Chaity Gala Dinner, but others have included the Melbourne Cup Luncheon (co-hosted with the Law Society of SA) and the Past Presidents, Retired and Life Members' Luncheon.

The AMA(SA) and RACGP SA/NT also have regularly co-hosted a Members' Christmas Party each year. The AMA(SA) President also hosts an annual President's Breakfast to say thank you to AMA(SA) Councillors and Committee members and the people the AMA(SA) works with throughout the year.

AMA(SA) Council meetings are held monthly, with the exception of the months of January, July and October, usually on the first Thursday of the month. For more information on attending as an AMA(SA) member, contact Claudia Baccanello on 8361 0109 or by email. An AGM is held annually, usually in April.

The AMA(SA) also offers a range of training events for practice managers and staff, via AMA Skills Traning, as well as a suite of educational events with our financial aservices partner Hood Sweeney.
