medicSA Summer 2023-24
As 2023 comes to a close, AMA(SA) President Dr John Williams and his predecessor Dr Michelle Atchison, their Council, the Executive Board and committees, and the Secretariat staff can look back on 12 months of advocacy, engagement and help for colleagues that have achieved significant results for members, the medical profession and the provision of health services for patients and communities.
This week’s announcement that the work of AMA(SA) and the Rural Doctors’ Association of SA has been vital to securing an agreement with Rural Support Service for a new rural generalists’ contract is one such achievement.
