Restrictive Practices Legislation Highly Complex for Doctors

The AMA(SA) supports the move to enable doctors to temporarily restrain patients with impaired decision-making capacity where there is a risk of harm to themselves or others but they must be educated about the complexities of judging impaired decision-making capacity.
