MOCA 5 Negotiations

In February 2018, AMA Queensland, in partnership with the Australian Salaried Medical Officers' Federation Queensland (ASMOFQ), served a log of claims for the new Medical Officers’ Certified Agreement 5 (MOCA 5) for junior and senior public hospital doctors working for Queensland Health.

We are negotiating for a MOCA 5 agreement that provides:

  • a 5% salary increase per year for the three years of the agreement;
  • increased professional development leave and allowances;
  • indexing allowances which haven't previously been indexed; and
  • travel provisions to support doctors working in regional public hospitals.

Bargaining period: from February to June 2018, AMA Queensland/ASMOFQ will be undertaking fortnightly bargaining meetings with Queensland Health.

Keep a close eye on this page for the most up-to-date information regarding progress with the negotiations.
