For many years AMA (NSW) and the Law Society of NSW have published medico-legal guidance for medical and legal practitioners together with guidance regarding medico-legal fees. In February 2024, AMA (NSW) and the Law Society of NSW released an updated medico-legal guide (available here). While the Law Society of NSW has decided to no longer promote a schedule of suggested medico-legal fees, many AMA (NSW) members do find it a useful resource, and so AMA (NSW) has published an updated schedule which you can access within the member portal, by clicking the view link.
