AMA submission on the National Safety and Quality Medical Imaging Standards Consultation

The AMA supports the development of a nationally consistent medical imaging standard to provide guidance to medical imaging services to continuously improve and deliver safe and quality services. Standards should reflect best clinical practices, support qualified practitioners, and provide facilities with the necessary guidance to meet accreditation requirements. We are calling for meaningful engagement and further consultation with stakeholders.
