In June, the AMA Council of Doctors in Training:

  • Was successful in advocating for doctor in training representation on the National Rural Generalist Pathway Taskforce and working groups
  • Attended the AMA Queensland Junior Doctor Conference
  • Appointed Dr Chris Wilson and Dr Bernadette Wilks as Deputy Co-Chairs for the next two-year term
  • Made a submission to the AMC accreditation of the College of Intensive Care Medicine
  • Met with the Department of Health to be briefed on the 2018 Budget and its implications for doctors in training.
