Your AMACDT: working for you
In June, the AMA Council of Doctors in Training:
- Was successful in advocating for doctor in training representation on the National Rural Generalist Pathway Taskforce and working groups
- Attended the AMA Queensland Junior Doctor Conference
- Appointed Dr Chris Wilson and Dr Bernadette Wilks as Deputy Co-Chairs for the next two-year term
- Made a submission to the AMC accreditation of the College of Intensive Care Medicine
- Met with the Department of Health to be briefed on the 2018 Budget and its implications for doctors in training.
