President's email update - Wednesday 21 July

Today, I addressed the National Press Club to promote this week’s AMA Family Doctor Week, and to launch our Key Health Issues for the 2010 Federal Election – the AMA’s health policy wish list.

The document covers what we see as the priority areas of the health landscape that need reform. We have presented the major political parties with this platform of good health policy, and call on them to be open and honest with the community on the direction of our country’s health system.
