On behalf of medical practitioners, the Australian Medical Association sought specific advice from the Chief Medical Officer on a number of important questions that doctors have been asking us in relation to Swine Influenza.

On 1 May 2009, the AMA circulated these questions and answers to AMA members.

The Department of Health and Ageing has now posted these questions and answers on their website and is regularly updating the answers to ensure that they are fully consistent with the latest advice and case definitions.
