AMA Gold Business Credit Card 

American Express credit approval criteria applies. Subject to Terms and Conditions. Interest rates, fees and charges apply. All information is correct as at 22 April 2010 and is subject to change. This offer is only available to members of the Australian Institute of Architects residing in Australia. Cards are offered, issued and administered by American Express Australia Limited.

  1. Subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Membership Rewards program available at membershiprewards.com.au. To transfer Membership Rewards points into an airline rewards or frequent guest partner program you must be enrolled in Membership Rewards Ascent and be a member of the partner program. Membership of the partner program is the Cardmember’s responsibility and is subject to the Terms and Conditions of the applicable program. A joining fee may apply.
  2. Qantas Direct enrolment required. Qantas Frequent Flyer members only. Earning of points is subject to the Terms and Conditions for the Qantas Direct program for American Express Cards and exclusions apply. Membership of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program and earning and redemption of Qantas Frequent Flyer points are subject to the terms and conditions of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program. A joining fee applies. Once rewards points have been redeemed for Qantas Frequent Flyer points, they are governed by the terms and conditions of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program and can not be reversed. Award seats are subject to capacity controls and availability is limited. Award flights must be booked at least 24 hours before scheduled departure (and other advance booking requirements may apply).   3. Depending on when you make a purchase, when your statement is issued and whether or not you are carrying forward a balance on your account from your previous statement period. Balances must be paid in full each statement month. 
  4. No preset spending limit does not mean unlimited spending. Your purchases are approved based on a variety of factors, including current spending patterns, your payment history, credit record, and financial resources known to us.
  5. Insurance Products are arranged through American Express International, Inc (ABN 15 000 618 208) AFS Licence 237996. Subject to the terms, conditions and exclusions of the insurances issued by ACE Insurance Limited (ABN 23 001 642 020) AFS Licence No. 239687. You should read the appropriate Insurance Terms and Conditions and consider the appropriateness of the insurance in relation to your individual requirements.
  6. Transactions with GST itemisation on American Express Commercial Card statements can act as proof of purchase for taxation purposes, and may substitute for a tax invoice when claiming input tax credits. However, original tax invoice retention is required where the merchant is classified as a Mixed Supply merchant.

1. Automatic enrolment in Membership Rewards Choices. Subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Membership Rewards Choices program. Your Membership Rewards Choices account cannot be linked with an existing Membership Rewards Ascent account, if held. Please note that points earned in Membership Rewards Choices may not be transferred to a third party airline rewards or frequent guest partner program. There may be taxation implications associated with your participation in the Membership Rewards program. You are advised to check with your accountant or tax advisor for further information.
2. Please note that where a transaction is flagged as a mixed-supply transaction, or the requirements of the relevant Australian Taxation Office ruling are not satisfied for a transaction, you must obtain a tax invoice to support your GST claims.
3. Depending upon when you make a purchase, when your statement is issued and whether or not you are carrying forward a balance on your account from your previous statement period. There are no interest free days on Cash Advances.
4. Interest rates are current as at 28 November 2008 and subject to change, including changes under our Interest Rate Policy.

Please note if you reside in the ACT American Express will contact you to fill out an Assets and Liabilities form after your application has been submitted.
