QScript exemptions from 1 July 2024
AMA Queensland members will be relieved to see Queensland Health has taken doctors’ feedback about QScript on board and will be implementing some long overdue changes from 1 July 2024.
The amendments include exemptions for patients in low-risk circumstances including:
- in hospital settings
- in aged care facilities
- prisons
- end-of-life care situations
